Job Overview

This full-time position based in Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada offers an opportunity to work as a Kitchen Helper without any requirement for formal education or prior experience, as training will be provided.

Key Duties

• Deliver clean dishes, flatware, and various items to serving locations and arrange tables appropriately.
• Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently.
• Manually clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen utensils.
• Prepare food portions and wrap them securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the kitchen area including work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Handle receipt, unpacking, and storage of supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and designated storage areas.
• Manage kitchen waste by removing garbage and trash regularly.
• Sharpen kitchen knives ensuring tools are safe and ready for use.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain hygiene standards.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.

Additional Information

• Shift options include early morning, morning, evening, night, day, and weekend shifts.
• This is a permanent role committed to a 40-hour workweek.
• Work language is English.
