Security Specialist

About the Role

This position is within Security Operations (SOPs) and presents an exciting chance to work in a vibrant and fast-moving Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. The role involves delivering innovative security solutions across a wide-ranging technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage services related to security infrastructure, including firewall administration, DNS protective mechanisms, incident handling and resolution, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions, and secure VPN management.
• Operate independently and take initiative to offer outstanding customer service to a diverse array of agencies with varying needs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance current services and implement improvements.
• Develop supportive relationships throughout CITEC to effectively perform your duties and assist in delivering SOPs services.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, evolving security threats, and industry best practices to continuously improve service offerings.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call roster as required.
