Junior Software Developer (m/w/d)

Role Overview

We create internal tools, API integrations, and automation solutions focused on IT security and consulting processes. These are practical implementations used daily—not experimental or demo projects. Our goal is to efficiently handle data, connect systems, automate reporting, reduce manual tasks, and increase process reliability.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in building and enhancing internal software tools, including small HTTP services and API endpoints.
• Develop automations for recurring workflows.
• Process and organize technical data effectively.
• Create reporting and export functions.
• Integrate existing tools and platforms.
• Develop simple user interfaces or modify existing frontends as needed.
• Document your solutions for ease of use and future development by colleagues.

You will work on real project requirements within the IT security domain, not isolated practice tasks.

The main focus is back-end, APIs, automation, and internal tooling, with occasional frontend assignments. This position is based at our Munich office; remote work is not available.

Candidate Profile

• Basic practical experience in software development from education, internships, studies, or personal projects.
• Fundamental understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Ability to write maintainable and comprehensible code.
• Capability to handle errors thoughtfully and analyze technical issues independently.
• Comfortable documenting your work clearly.
• Strong sense of responsibility for your deliverables.
• Excellent German language skills (project and customer language) and good English proficiency.

Desirable Skills (Not Required)

• Initial experience with Python, C#, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of Docker or container technology.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Interest in automation tools such as Power Automate.
• Curiosity about internal tools, API integration, and automating reporting.

Certifications are not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt to our tech stack is essential.
