Job Overview
Larsen & Toubro's Valves division is seeking proactive Sales Engineers to lead sales and business growth efforts for industrial valves and flow control products within designated regions and customer sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads and inquiries.
- Promote and market industrial valves and flow-control product solutions to prospective clients.
- Engage in technical discussions, prepare detailed proposals, and submit commercial offers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer service support.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Meet defined sales targets and contribute to expansion strategies.
- Keep abreast of competitor movements and industry trends.
- Prepare sales forecasts, management information system reports, and update sales pipelines regularly.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Have 4 to 5 years of experience selling industrial valves, pumps, flow-control equipment, or process machinery.
- Preferably familiar with sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Chemical, or Process industries.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
