HOYER Logistics Arabia is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations while enhancing customer relationships through professional and courteous interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
• Prepare invoices and related documentation, updating accounting systems accordingly.
• Supervise daily financial transactions, addressing accounts payable and receivable.
• Compile financial statements and reports required for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate audit activities and provide necessary information to auditors.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT returns in compliance with KSA regulations.
• Keep current with VAT rule changes and make appropriate updates.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Create and maintain proper documentation for business processes and accounting policies to support internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Skilled in using accounting software platforms and proficient with MS Excel.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger management.
• Strong understanding of accounting regulations and standards, particularly IFRS.
