Overview
HOYER Group's Middle East office in Al-Jubayl is inviting applications for the role of Plant Operator. This position involves overseeing various operational activities within the tank farm, including truck loading and unloading, filling processes, and warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all work instructions and internal regulations.
- Comply strictly with plant safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Possess awareness and knowledge on spill containment procedures and emergency responses.
- Execute work responsibly and in alignment with operational requirements.
- Demonstrate flexibility, punctuality, and strong teamwork capabilities.
- Manage packaging materials properly to support operational flow.
- Assist with loading and unloading of chemical drums and other materials from containers and trucks, utilizing forklifts effectively.
- Operate drum-filling conveyors to offload and stack drums securely in warehouse pallets.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any damages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of machinery and surrounding work areas.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: High school diploma, ITI (NCVT) certification, or related diploma level qualification.
- Basic understanding of materials and handling of heavy equipment such as forklifts.
- Mandatory possession of a valid forklift license.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Relevant professional experience of 4-6 years in similar environments, particularly involving chemical handling.
- A good understanding of hazardous chemical management and familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Knowledge of chemical compatibility for safe handling and storage.
