About the role
WSP is looking for a meticulous and seasoned Document Controller to support a major project in Riyadh. This position is intended for a Saudi national and suits someone who can keep project records accurate, organized, and easy to access while working within a large construction or engineering setting.
The role sits within a global organization that works on major projects, values fresh thinking and diverse viewpoints, and offers the chance to contribute to work that has a meaningful impact.
What you will do
- Oversee all project documents so they remain accurate, complete, and well controlled.
- Apply and maintain the project’s document management workflows and procedures.
- Keep files up to date, properly categorized, and simple to retrieve when needed.
- Work closely with project teams to make sure documents are submitted and shared on time.
- Check documents for correctness and completeness before they are stored or circulated.
- Track all incoming and outgoing correspondence and records in a structured register.
- Follow company policies, internal procedures, and document control requirements at all times.
- Train and guide colleagues on document control tools and good practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in document control, ideally within construction or engineering.
- Hands-on proficiency with PMWeb is compulsory.
- Strong coordination and organization skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Clear written and spoken communication abilities.
- Capability to work on your own as well as collaboratively with a team.
