  • Contribute to method development, design experiments, and address technical challenges.
  • Create technical summaries, detailed reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on consulting projects and research.
  • Ensure laboratory records, quality standards, and safety protocols are maintained.
  • Support project management to align with technical, scheduling, and client requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Applied Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Zero to five years of experience in labs, materials characterization, applied science, or technical research.
  • Excellent communication abilities for technical writing and verbal presentation.
  • Capability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a client-focused setting.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Working knowledge of laboratory instruments like Optical Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman Spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography (GC), and Liquid Chromatography (LC).
  • Experience with scientific programming or data analytics tools such as Python or MATLAB.
  • Background in failure analysis, manufacturing process troubleshooting, or applied materials research is advantageous.
