Payroll Analyst Clerk

About the Role

The Payroll Analyst Clerk position is a full-time role located in Miami/Doral/Dallas, requiring in-person attendance initially with the possibility of partial remote work after a successful introductory period. Reporting to the CFO within the Accounting and Finance Department, this role manages personnel cost accounting and supports payroll-related financial reporting and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions accurately within the accounting system.
• Verify and reconcile payroll records to ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
• Ensure proper tracking, backup, and filing of payroll documentation confidentially and securely.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and personnel cost allocations with the General Ledger.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and other compliance reports timely.
• Assist in financial closing processes, tax audits, and payroll accounting related activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with the ADP Workforce Payroll System is essential.
• Solid understanding of general financial and cost accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of accepted accounting principles such as assets, liabilities, profits, and loss.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and disciplined in data entry and document management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.
• One to three years of practical accounting experience.

Compensation
