Role overview
BSI is seeking a People Process Optimisation & Enablement Specialist to join its People team and help improve how HR services are designed and delivered in a large, international environment. The position is focused on reviewing current People processes, simplifying them, and building more efficient, compliant, and scalable ways of working.
You will work with People Operations, HR Centres of Excellence, HRIS, and IT teams to turn business and operational needs into practical system-supported solutions. The role blends process design, stakeholder coordination, change support, and continuous improvement to create a more effective employee experience and a stronger People operating model.
This opportunity is well suited to someone with a background in HR operations or HR transformation who enjoys improving workflows, influencing across functions, and delivering lasting operational change.

Singapore, China, or India - remote.
Key responsibilities
- Review existing People processes to uncover inefficiencies, risk areas, and opportunities to simplify, standardise, and automate.
- Redesign and improve end-to-end People processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Work with HRIS and IT partners to convert business needs into scalable, system-enabled solutions.
- Help cut down manual activity and improve efficiency through automation and better workflows.
- Develop and keep up-to-date process documents, guidance, governance structures, and operating procedures.
- Encourage adoption of new or improved ways of working through communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and change activity.
- Partner with People Operations, HR Centres of Excellence, and business stakeholders to support service delivery and employee experience goals.
- Define process ownership, accountability, and escalation routes within the People operating model.
- Use service data, operational metrics, and employee feedback to spot improvement areas and track effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement work that enhances compliance, service quality, and scale across the People function.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in HR operations, People process optimisation, HR transformation, or HR enablement.
- Proven involvement in end-to-end process redesign or operational improvement across HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR operating models, including shared services, Centres of Excellence, and regional delivery setups.
- Experience working with HRIS or digital teams to implement system-enabled process improvements; Workday or similar platforms are preferred.
- Strong ability to manage stakeholders and influence outcomes in a complex matrix organisation.
- Capability to balance global consistency with local legal and operational requirements.
- Analytical, data-led approach with experience using metrics and feedback to improve performance.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create documentation and present recommendations.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- Experience supporting HR transformation or operating model change programmes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of process improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
- Project management or continuous improvement certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience in global organisations going through technology or process transformation is highly desirable.
