Role overview
This is a new opportunity with a fast-growing national energy company. The position exists because of continued expansion and focuses on planning and controlling schedules for renewable energy projects. Work will cover solar PV, electric vehicle infrastructure, ESB grid connections, and related site works.
The purpose of the role is to keep project plans accurate, highlight risks early, and track progress closely so delivery stays on schedule and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Create detailed project programmes from award stage through commissioning and final handover.
- Track live progress against approved schedule baselines and update plans as work advances.
- Support early identification of risks and issues that could affect delivery.
- Coordinate scheduling input with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement teams, Construction Managers, and clients.
Requirements
- A relevant third-level qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in planning and scheduling.
- Practical experience with critical path analysis and risk management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical thinking and strong organisational skills.
