  • Maintain strong governance across the programme, including budget oversight, risk and issue control, resource planning and benefits tracking.
  • Coordinate delivery across internal teams, suppliers and external partners.
  • Promote project management standards, delivery methodologies and continuous improvement across programmes.
  • Support business growth by spotting opportunities to improve technology delivery capabilities and client outcomes.
  • Coach and guide project managers and delivery staff to encourage strong performance and professional development.

Experience required

  • Proven success leading large digital transformation, systems integration or enterprise change initiatives.
  • Strong background in managing multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience with programme governance, financial control, delivery planning and reporting.
  • Experience leading teams spread across different locations or operating in a matrix structure.
  • Good working knowledge of project and programme delivery methods, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills, with experience presenting to executive and senior management audiences.
  • Ability to balance high-level programme oversight with detailed delivery execution.

Desirable experience

  • Exposure to programmes involving Cloud Migration, ERP, CRM, AI, Data & Analytics, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure, Service Management or Systems Integration.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar enterprise service management tools.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Public Sector, Utilities, Technology, Retail, Manufacturing, Telecommunications or Life Sciences.
  • Familiarity with programme governance practices such as RAID management, budget monitoring and benefits realisation.
  • Professional credentials such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMBOK, SAFe, Agile or similar project management certifications.
  • Experience supporting business development, client relationship management and proposal work.

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent third-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Additional project or programme management certifications are considered a strong advantage.

Working arrangements and benefits

  • This is a permanent position.
  • The role is offered on a hybrid basis with flexible working options.
