Application Manager Telematik (m/w/d)

About the Role

This position is based in multiple locations including Essen, Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Ludwigsburg, and Hamburg, and is available immediately. As an Application Manager in the telematics domain, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment and monitoring of application software on container platforms, collaborating closely with software vendors for system and application-related queries.

Key Duties

• Install and supervise application software within a containerized environment as part of a team.
• Manage Change, Service Requests, and Incident handling in accordance with ITIL standards.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of infrastructure and application projects.
• Support the setup and maintenance of applications related to the electronic health card (eGK), electronic patient record (ePA), and other healthcare apps, thus playing a vital role in advancing healthcare digitalization.

Candidate Profile

• Completed studies in computer science, a related education, or extensive practical experience in IT.
• Proven expertise in application installation, commissioning, and operational support.
• Initial experience working with containerized applications.
• Proficient Linux skills, command of at least one scripting language, and foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and server/application administration.
• Personal qualities including flexibility, openness to new challenges, service orientation, and strong cooperation and teamwork capabilities.
