Overview
Join Marriott International as a Human Resources Associate, supporting various HR processes at our Bengaluru location. This role involves administrative duties, employee relations support, and ensuring smooth HR operations aligned with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain effective filing systems for HR documentation.
- Prepare and type office correspondence using computer systems.
- Handle distribution and routing of internal and external mail.
- Manage ordering and inventory tracking of HR office supplies and official forms.
- Answer incoming phone calls, record and relay messages accurately.
- Set up and maintain new employee personnel files ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and keep the application area clean, accessible, and disability-friendly.
- Address queries and concerns from employees and management related to HR policies and programs.
- Communicate employee relations issues to HR management as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee and company records, ensuring compliance with standards including interview documents and legal forms like I-9s.
- Adhere strictly to company policies including personal appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management promptly.
- Welcome guests following company hospitality standards, and consistently use professional and clear communication in person and over the phone.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and contribute positively to team goals.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality expectations and standards.
- Use computers or POS systems to retrieve and input work-related information.
- Perform physical tasks involving lifting or moving objects up to 10 pounds as required.
- Execute additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar administrative or HR support role.
- No prior supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is necessary.
