Role Overview
The Associate Product Operations role focuses on streamlining product-related operations, supporting cross-functional collaborations, and ensuring smooth product launches alongside ongoing enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Product team to guarantee effective execution of product initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Business, and Operations teams to oversee feature development and releases.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation including SOPs, release notes, and workflow processes.
- Track product issues, bugs, and enhancement requests to ensure timely resolution in coordination with stakeholders.
- Monitor product performance metrics and generate reports to aid in informed decision-making.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify new features prior to release.
- Collect customer feedback from both internal and external sources to prioritize operational improvements.
- Handle product backlogs, tickets, and workflows utilizing tools like Jira or similar.
- Communicate product updates, releases, and operational changes promptly across teams.
- Spot process inefficiencies and propose automation or other operational improvements to boost productivity.
- Support training and onboarding of internal teams regarding new product features and processes.
Candidate Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Business Operations, Project Coordination, or related roles.
- Previous involvement in startups or fast-moving environments is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and project coordination capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and effective stakeholder management.
- Analytical mindset with keen problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Notion, Google Sheets/Excel, Confluence, or equivalents.
- Fundamental knowledge of SaaS products and the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within EdTech, SaaS, or technology-centered companies.
- Comfort working alongside product, engineering, and business units.
- Strong ownership attitude emphasizing execution excellence.
- Experience supporting product launches, release processes, or product support functions.
- Basic understanding of SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or other analytics platforms is a bonus.
