About the Role

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is seeking a dedicated full-time Cleaner to join its cleaning and facilities teams supporting Defence clients. This position encompasses a 37.5-hour workweek, focusing on maintaining safe and hygienic environments. The Cleaner will be fundamental in upholding the company’s commitment to providing outstanding experiences for clients and customers.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday: Full-time day shifts
Saturday and Sunday: No work scheduled

Main Duties

Collaborate with cleaning and facilities teams to ensure client and customer locations remain clean and safe
Perform dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming with attention to detail
Regularly sanitize surfaces, floors, windows, and frequently touched areas
Respond promptly to additional cleaning needs, including spill management
Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal responsibly
Monitor cleaning supplies and replenish stock as necessary

Candidate Profile

Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Enthusiastic about hands-on work
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not mandatory
Demonstrates a flexible approach to work assignments
