Cleaner

About the Role

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is seeking a dedicated full-time Cleaner to join its cleaning and facilities teams supporting Defence clients. This position encompasses a 37.5-hour workweek, focusing on maintaining safe and hygienic environments. The Cleaner will be fundamental in upholding the company’s commitment to providing outstanding experiences for clients and customers.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: Full-time day shifts
• Saturday and Sunday: No work scheduled

Main Duties

• Collaborate with cleaning and facilities teams to ensure client and customer locations remain clean and safe
• Perform dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming with attention to detail
• Regularly sanitize surfaces, floors, windows, and frequently touched areas
• Respond promptly to additional cleaning needs, including spill management
• Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal responsibly
• Monitor cleaning supplies and replenish stock as necessary

Candidate Profile

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Enthusiastic about hands-on work
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not mandatory
• Demonstrates a flexible approach to work assignments
