Role Overview

The Data Analyst position reports to the Materials Master Team and focuses on enhancing the quality, consistency, and integrity of critical supply chain master data. This remote role involves designing and deploying Power BI dashboards, AI-driven solutions, and automated processes to detect, measure, and fix data quality issues across enterprise platforms such as OnePDM (Aras), Dynamics 365, and other corporate data systems.

Responsibilities

Create insightful Power BI dashboards and analytics tools to monitor data quality metrics, trends, exceptions, and key performance indicators.
Develop AI-augmented solutions utilizing Copilot, prompt engineering, and AI agents to enhance data analysis and operational efficiencies.
Inspect datasets spanning multiple systems to uncover inconsistencies, duplicates, missing attributes, and procedural gaps.
Conduct root cause analyses and propose durable solutions that reduce recurring problems.
Lead data remediation efforts and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure corrective measures are implemented effectively.
Define data quality benchmarks, establish monitoring frameworks, and enforce governance controls.
Document processes, business rules, standard operational procedures, and develop training materials.
Collaborate with both business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions.

Candidate Requirements

A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in related roles.
Proven ability to design and build Power BI dashboards and intelligent business solutions.
Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Copilot, prompt engineering, AI agents, or equivalent technologies for business problem solving and automation.
Strong analytical aptitude including expertise in data quality assessment and root cause diagnosis.
Experience managing extensive, complex datasets across various systems.
Track record of leading initiatives in data quality, governance, remediation, and process enhancement.
Skilled in project management: stakeholder engagement, issue handling, and driving tasks to completion.
Competence in developing comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and training resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently gather requirements, architect solutions, and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Familiarity with SQL, data modeling techniques, data lakes, and enterprise-grade data platforms.
Experience with ERP, PLM, MRP, or supply chain management systems.
Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and/or Aras Innovator (OnePDM) platforms.
Understanding of master data management and data governance frameworks.
Background in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain sectors.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $108,000 to $114,000, with variation influenced by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Benefit offerings, contingent on eligibility, include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, long-term and short-term disability coverage, five personal days yearly, 10-15 days of paid vacation, six paid holidays plus one floating holiday, and paid sick leave compliant with relevant city/state regulations.
