કામનું વર્ણન
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage material flow by coordinating and actively directing operational logistics processes ranging from goods receipt to dispatch.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing goods ensuring smooth, efficient handling of storage and retrieval operations in compliance with FIFO standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory management through regular stock checks, conducting inventories, and updating warehouse management systems to guarantee correct stock levels; employ methodical techniques to optimize inventory.
- Lead warehouse staff both technically and organizationally, including planning staff deployment, training, and motivating the team while monitoring quality standards, workplace safety, and adherence to legal requirements.
- Enhance processes by analyzing current workflows and devising efficient, competitive structures based on LEAN principles; prepare detailed reports and evaluations in collaboration with logistics management.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance departments to ensure timely and accurate material supply.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training in a related industrial field.
- Further qualification as a logistics master or an equivalent certification.
- Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills with substantial experience managing industrial teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient use of ERP systems and MS Office applications; SAP S4/HANA experience preferred.
- Application of Lean management methods, Kaizen principles, and 5S methodology.
- High problem-solving ability, assertiveness, and resilience.
- Possession of a forklift license and driving license class B is mandatory.
- Crane operator certification is desirable.
- Excellent command of the German language, both spoken and written.
