Your Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at impact.com, you will join a dynamic agile scrum team developing a critical segment of the client portal. The teams are designed to be highly integrated yet loosely coupled to enhance productivity and promote innovation. You will play a significant role, contributing your ideas and skills toward crafting superior software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in the frameworks, languages, tools, and services utilized within the team.
- Produce software solutions for the Impact platform with a focus on meeting user requirements.
- Design, maintain, and monitor scalable software applications serving thousands of global users.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, including familiarity with functional programming approaches.
- Essential experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js.
- Experience working with SQL databases such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and GitHub.
- Knowledge of real-time streaming technologies like Kafka or Google Pub/Sub is advantageous.
- Familiarity with deployment and monitoring processes including tools like Gradle, Maven, and Jenkins is a plus.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Comfortable operating within Linux environments.
Nice to Have
- Certification in Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals by PXA.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is 135,000 to 170,000 CAD, complemented by a 5% variable annual bonus based on company performance and eligibility for Restricted Stock Unit grants. Salary is adjusted based on candidates' qualifications and experience and may be revised by the company.
