Role Purpose

As an Electronics Engineer assigned to the Offshore Drilling Business Line on a Jack-Up Drilling Vessel, you will collaborate closely with the electrical team and utilize your electrical knowledge to ensure operational reliability and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate electrical maintenance activities under the guidance of the Electrical Lead or Chief Engineer.
• Supervise and control onboard electrical and electronic systems, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Establish maintenance priorities and schedule maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Recommend material stock levels to supervisors to guarantee uninterrupted maintenance operations.
• Maintain optimal functioning of the electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Ensure all work is performed in line with established safety procedures and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma in Electrical or Electronic sciences or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience within the last decade working as an Electronics Engineer or in a higher role (such as Electrical Section Leader or Chief Electrician) on Saipem or other rigs.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as an Electronics Engineer or Electronics Technician in the past 10 years.
• Experience with NOV or HMH drilling packages is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
