About the Role
We are urgently looking for an experienced HR Manager for a client based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE Labour Law and comprehensive HR operations management across multiple entities. This role includes end-to-end handling of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and administrative processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through to exit processes.
- Maintain precise records and documentation related to employees and HR activities.
- Draft employment contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, and other HR communications.
- Manage probation periods and employee confirmations effectively.
- Organize onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Administer leave management and maintain attendance records.
- Coordinate internal movements such as transfers, promotions, and offboarding procedures.
- Ensure employee information confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with department heads to plan and coordinate recruitment efforts across all group companies.
- Screen applicants and arrange interviews; liaise with external recruitment agencies and job portals.
- Enhance recruitment processes and improve candidate experience continuously.
- Support employer branding and recognition initiatives.
- Facilitate annual and probationary performance reviews, monitor KPI completion and support performance improvement plans.
- Ensure adherence to UAE Labour Law and company HR policies, assist in policy reviews and updates.
- Maintain employee handbook and coordinate HR audits and compliance checks.
- Work in close partnership with Finance and Compliance teams on payroll coordination, benefits management, and salary structure reviews.
- Manage employee training programmes and maintain training records, supporting career development.
- Maintain and upgrade the HR Management System; promote digital HR processes and efficiencies.
- Coordinate administrative tasks including employee visa processing, medical insurance administration, accommodation, travel arrangements, and general office support related to HR.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years as an HR Manager or Generalist.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE Labour Law and experience managing recruitment and HR operations end-to-end.
- Proficiency with HRMS systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent HR certification.
- Experience in sectors such as trading, financial services, commodities, investment, or multinational corporations.
- Experience managing HR functions across multiple business entities.
