Role Summary
Join Brakes UK’s Independent Sales Team as a Business Development Manager focusing on home/field-based operations within areas including Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, and Wakefield. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £35,000, complemented by an uncapped bonus structure, company car or car allowance, and a contract centered around a home-based setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new independent business opportunities ensuring a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop strong relationships with independent local food market players driven by a passion for food trends.
- Create tailored culinary solutions that assist customers in saving both time and money.
- Achieve profit growth targets and benefit from reward schemes tied to success metrics.
- Seamlessly onboard new clients in collaboration with Area Sales Managers to ensure excellent client integration.
- Monitor competitor actions and market trends within the independent sector to deliver cutting-edge solutions and insights.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales and market objectives leveraging a deep understanding of the food industry landscape.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in field sales is desirable but not mandatory.
- A commercial mindset with strong motivation and ambition to meet business goals.
- Confidence in engaging customers directly through field presence is essential.
- Food service or hospitality experience is beneficial, though comprehensive training will be provided.
