Overview
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with a background in finance, accounting, or economics and 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or project finance specifically within the contracting or construction sectors.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial performance and develop budgets and forecasts
- Track and monitor project costs closely
- Support preparation of financial reports
- Assist management in making informed financial decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or project finance within contracting or construction industries
- Familiarity with contracting operations including project costing, budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control processes
- Strong expertise in financial analysis and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in contracting or construction companies
- Understanding of project accounting principles
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or Power BI software
