Overview

This role is for an HR Coordinator who will support core people operations across site functions in a busy manufacturing setting. The position focuses on workforce planning, hiring coordination, reporting, employee lifecycle support, and process improvement. It is suited to someone who enjoys working with data, partnering with different teams, and improving the employee experience.

Key responsibilities
- Work with HR and business leaders to help with workforce planning and support the site in meeting monthly staffing targets.
- Coordinate requisitions and recruitment activities, and collaborate with onsite hiring partners for both union and non-union roles.
- Prepare weekly and ad hoc workforce reports covering headcount, retirements, lead hand data, and workforce validation for multiple sites.
- Support manpower governance meetings by collecting, organizing, and presenting accurate workforce information and practical recommendations to site leadership.
- Handle HR transactions in SuccessFactors Employee Central and help keep HR records accurate and dependable.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks for employees and onsite contractors, including paperwork, training coordination, badge renewals, and terminations.
- Assist with audits, documentation requests, employee surveys, and day-to-day HR questions while helping maintain compliance with internal rules and site standards.
- Support recurring HR activities such as engagement surveys, reporting cycles, merit exercises, and other scheduled people programs.
- Look for opportunities to improve reporting, data quality, and administrative workflows to support efficiency and better decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or a closely related discipline.
- Two to four years of progressive HR experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong command of Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, along with a proactive, self-directed work style.
- Comfort presenting information to site leadership.
Preferred qualifications
- CHRP designation, or progress toward certification.
- Experience using SuccessFactors or other HRIS platforms.
- Background in workforce analytics, reporting, or process improvement initiatives.

The expected base pay for this role is CAD 56,500 to CAD 88,800 per year. Final compensation may vary depending on skills, experience, and qualifications, at the company’s discretion.
