Position Overview
This opportunity, aligned with a future program not yet awarded, calls for a Logistician III to provide advanced logistics support, integrating processes across operations, acquisition, and sustainment. The role oversees end-to-end lifecycle management of Navy systems and equipment, formulates logistics policies, and coordinates supply chain and readiness efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sustainment planning and life cycle coordination for U.S. Navy client support.
- Integrate logistics workflows encompassing operational, acquisition, and wholesale domains.
- Develop comprehensive logistics support policies, procedures, and systems.
- Provide guidance on implementation and uphold logistics standards compliance.
- Manage logistics documentation and coordinate planning activities for projects.
- Ensure workforce readiness and training in logistics practices.
- Handle logistics matters concerning lifecycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
- Coordinate supply chain activities, maintenance planning, and support sustainment functions.
Essential Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in logistics support roles.
- Preferred background in Navy operations and related environments.
- Possession of at least a Secret security clearance.
- Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.
