Power Platform Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and roll out business applications using low-code and no-code tools. The role is focused on improving operational efficiency through automation, workflow design, and application delivery in a collaborative enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and launch applications with platforms such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or comparable low-code/no-code tools.
• Review existing business processes to spot automation opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical designs.
• Build automated workflows, forms, and system integrations that simplify and accelerate business operations.
• Test solutions thoroughly to confirm they satisfy both functional and non-functional expectations.
• Prepare and keep detailed documentation for every solution, including solution design, environment and configuration details, security and compliance records, deployment instructions, support and maintenance guides, user guides, training content, and testing/validation reports.
• Work with IT teams, business users, and external vendors to deliver reliable solutions aligned with business goals.
• Follow ICT security requirements and data governance standards throughout development and deployment.
• Support live solutions by monitoring performance, resolving issues, and delivering enhancements when needed.

Experience and Skills Needed

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, especially on low-code/no-code platforms.
• Ability to configure and support low-code platforms, including workflows, rules engines, process logic, data validation, and UI elements.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability with careful attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

• Certifications in low-code/no-code tools, especially Microsoft Power Platform, are an advantage.
• At least 1 year of practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform products such as Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Exposure to DevOps methods, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Git and Agile ways of working such as Scrum, TDD, Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration.
• Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as SQL/NoSQL databases and API integration with enterprise systems.
