Job duties

  • Complete all required training assigned by Zax LLC
  • Help maintain a safe, tidy, and well-maintained restaurant environment
  • Handle scheduled and unscheduled cleaning tasks, along with basic restaurant maintenance
  • Carry out routine cleaning and preventative maintenance for restaurant equipment
  • Inspect, operate, and test equipment to identify problems
  • Address minor lighting issues and oversee related repairs
  • Perform deep-cleaning work, including pressure washing inside and outside the location
  • Read and apply equipment manuals and work orders
  • Regularly check grounds, plumbing, electrical fixtures, outlets, kitchen equipment, and the building for preventative maintenance needs
  • Complete basic repairs when needed
  • Understand and follow safety procedures, operating instructions, and related manuals or laws
  • Keep maintenance records accurate, neat, and up to date
  • Follow operational standards and comply with Zaxby’s Franchising LLC and Zax LLC policies and procedures

  • Show flexibility and be willing to take on tasks beyond the core job description when needed
  • Report HR and risk-related concerns immediately to the General Manager and District Manager
