Overview
This role involves leading high-level discussions with senior stakeholders and decision makers at key customers to identify, qualify, and drive forward sales opportunities in the cloud and AI space. The specialist collaborates across teams to perform whitespace analysis and applies AI-powered market intelligence to discover and capitalize on emerging business opportunities and market gaps within the assigned domain. They align sales strategies with complex customer priorities by leveraging AI-driven predictive analytics to anticipate future market demands.
The position entails leading partnerships across organizational boundaries to develop AI- and cloud-enabled transformation solutions for both new and existing clients in the region, focusing on integrating cutting-edge AI technologies and cloud services. It requires conducting detailed sales pipeline reviews with senior internal stakeholders to optimize forecasting accuracy and achieve targets by utilizing AI-enhanced analytics tools. The specialist also drives customized sales strategies centered on customers' security requirements, reinforcing Microsoft's commitment to secure, AI-powered digital transformations and fostering enduring partnerships guided by AI-derived insights.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead sales strategies tailored to individual customer's security needs, promoting secure AI transformations aligned with their success plans.
- Direct partner teams and cultivate strong relationships to enable co-selling strategies and enhance partner engagement at all sales stages.
- Build and sustain productive connections with partner organizations to accelerate customer value delivery at scale.
- Assess and qualify sales opportunities adhering to structured sales frameworks and leverage AI-enhanced methodologies.
- Develop strategies for securing and closing complex, high-value deals by partnering with internal teams across various units to coordinate seamless deal orchestration.
- Implement best practices to build customer trust, secure agreements, and strategically mitigate sales risks.
- Analyze business opportunities and emerging trends to expand the customer portfolio and encourage innovation.
- Integrate technologies such as AI sales agents, automation tools, and Power Platforms to accelerate growth within the domain.
- Leverage detailed data analyses on customer propensity, renewals, consumption, and usage to refine sales tactics.
- Oversee partner optimization across accounts ensuring smooth transitions among involved teams throughout deal processes.
- Lead sales pipeline reviews with senior stakeholders using AI-driven analytics to enhance forecasting precision and meet sales goals.
- Coach sales teams to maintain pipeline hygiene and monitor adoption trends to support growth, expansion, and predictable renewals.
- Serve as a strategic point of contact to align AI transformation visions with business priorities and uphold security principles to maintain customer trust.
- Collaborate on whitespace market analysis using AI intelligence tools to shape team strategies aligned with market trends and strategic directives.
- Drive cross-functional teamwork to propose prioritized, customer-focused solutions that deliver business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor implementing Microsoft’s AI and cloud solutions, guiding digital transformation and enhancing competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related discipline plus 6 or more years of experience in technology sales or account management, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Master's degree (MBA or related field) with at least 8 years of relevant sales/account management experience, or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in the field.
- Demonstrated 6+ years of solution or services sales expertise required.
