About the Role
Brakes UK, the largest foodservice supplier in the nation, is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Doncaster. This role involves working from home or in the field to identify and secure new independent business opportunities, contributing to a fast-growing company passionate about feeding the nation. This position offers a salary up to £35,000, uncapped bonus potential, a company car plus car allowance, and a home-based contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue fresh independent business prospects, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities in the pipeline.
- Develop strong relationships with independent food market players through genuine interest in the culinary sector.
- Create customized culinary solutions that help customers save time and reduce costs.
- Achieve profit targets and drive significant business growth.
- Onboard new clients collaboratively with Area Sales Manager colleagues to ensure a smooth integration.
- Monitor competition and market trends to provide insightful, cutting-edge solutions sourced from the world's largest food wholesaler.
- Consistently surpass market objectives by leveraging your knowledge and passion for foodservice.
Candidate Profile
- Background in Field Sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- A strong commercial mindset paired with ambition to deliver measurable impact and meet targets.
- Confidence and enthusiasm for engaging customers directly in the field.
- Willingness to undergo comprehensive induction training on products and business operations.
- Foodservice or hospitality experience is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
