Overview
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administration Manager with deep expertise in CPWD and FIDIC contract frameworks, especially within Design & Build and EPC government contracts. This role requires a strong ability to interpret contract documents along with effective coordination and advisory skills to ensure project compliance and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand CPWD/FIDIC contract documents focusing on scope, obligations, and ambiguities between parties involved.
- Develop comprehensive contract appreciation documentation that outlines critical elements and nuances of the agreement.
- Interpret contract terms accurately and proactively address arising contractual issues through client and consultant liaison.
- Provide guidance to project teams on contractual and commercial matters to enhance project execution and collaboration across departments such as execution, planning, safety, and quality.
- Enforce adherence to contractual requirements including submission of Bank Guarantees, project scheduling, occupational health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare all official contract communications and coordinate with various project departments for seamless information flow.
- Ensure timely notification of delays, contract variations, legislative changes, and manage submissions like Extension of Time (EOT) requests and related claims.
- Maintain detailed logs for claims and contractual issues and keep track of their resolution.
- Conduct delay analyses following established procedures to evaluate project schedule impacts.
- Identify potential claims early and compile supporting documentation to substantiate them effectively.
- Review contractual project schedules before submission to detect schedule conflicts and recommend improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience working with CPWD and FIDIC contract conditions in government EPC/Design & Build projects.
- Expertise in contract review, interpretation, and dispute resolution.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities for client and consultant interactions.
- Competency in coordinating multi-departmental functions related to contractual compliance.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and manage claims efficiently.
- Skilled in delay analysis and associated scheduling techniques.
