Job Overview
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role requires proficiency in desktop and laptop support, basic troubleshooting, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate should have a minimum qualification of 10th, 12th standard, or IT diploma; a diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking is preferred. Freshers or candidates with over six months of relevant experience will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and activate MS Office, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite applications.
- Configure wireless printers and routers effectively.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot laptops and desktops at L1 support level.
- Perform laptop demonstrations and explain product features to customers clearly.
- Meet assigned monthly sales and service targets consistently.
- Build customer trust and confidently handle inquiries and issues.
- Inform customers about Zip Services and actively promote associated service packages.
Work Schedule
- Shift hours: 12:30 PM to 8:30/9:00 PM.
- Saturdays and Sundays are mandatory working days.
- One day off per week available Monday through Friday.
- The store operates on festivals with compensatory leave provided afterwards.
