About the Role
The Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand is seeking an Analyst to support governance, planning, and reporting operations. This role involves providing insightful analysis and coordination to ensure the organisation functions efficiently and meets its performance objectives. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the Authority, you will contribute to critical accountability frameworks and maintain governance systems to provide leaders with reliable information for decision-making.
Key Duties
- Assist in organisational planning, reporting, and accountability activities.
- Examine data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder contributions to compile accurate and comprehensive reports.
- Maintain and enhance governance, planning, and reporting infrastructures.
- Prepare precise reports, presentations, and performance metrics.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and drive continuous process improvements.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a well-organised analytical professional, comfortable juggling multiple tasks and building collaborative relationships across all organisational levels. They will balance attention to detail with strategic vision, motivated by streamlining processes and delivering high-quality information that contributes to organisational achievements.
- Experience supporting governance, planning, reporting, or business performance functions.
- Proficient analytical skills to detect trends, risks, and chances for improvement.
- Excellent written communication abilities and clarity in presenting information.
- Competency in handling data and systems such as Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Strong aptitude for engaging stakeholders with a cooperative and relational approach.
- Sound judgement, meticulousness, and the ability to prioritize multiple demands effectively.
