Role Overview
The position is for a Biology PhD Expert working on a contract basis. The work is fully remote and the compensation is set at $80 to $150 per hour.
Core Responsibilities
- Assess the scientific strength and technical accuracy of work across biology, chemistry, and translational research areas.
- Examine outputs produced through discovery and applied-science research pipelines.
- Offer clear, structured feedback that helps raise the quality and rigor of scientific work.
- Partner with other domain experts to keep datasets aligned, consistent, and relevant.
- Operate independently and asynchronously while meeting deadlines and contributing to better AI model performance.
Qualifications
- A PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, Translational Science, or a closely related discipline is required.
- A solid publication record in peer-reviewed research is expected.
- At least 2 years of industry experience in biotech, pharma, or a similar research and development environment is needed.
- The role calls for strong analytical judgment and the ability to communicate scientific ideas effectively.
Preferred Profile
- More than 4 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Candidates located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Europe are preferred.
