Job description

About the Role

Parsons is looking for a meticulous and well-organized contract specialist to provide contract administration and commercial coordination support on a major airport and airfield development project in Riyadh. This position centers on keeping contract processes accurate, compliant, and well documented while working closely with project and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help manage contracts in line with the agreed terms, conditions, and project procedures.
  • Draft and organize contractual correspondence, notices, and formal records.
  • Track variations, change orders, and contract deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain contract logs, registers, and supporting documentation as required by the project.
  • Prepare simple reports, summaries, and progress/status updates for contract matters.
  • Coordinate with commercial, procurement, and project teams on contractual issues and follow-ups.
  • Support compliance with approval workflows, contract procedures, and document submission requirements.
  • Communicate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams on contract-related matters.
  • Take part in contract reviews, meetings, and coordination discussions when needed.
  • Keep accurate records of submissions, approvals, and contractual correspondence.
  • Assist with contract-related document control and commercial record management.
  • Monitor important contract milestones and obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, or comparable work on construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Working knowledge of construction contracts and standard contract administration practices.
  • Strong ability to organize information, maintain records, and communicate clearly.
  • Comfort working with registers, logs, and reporting tools.
  • Preferred exposure to FIDIC or other standard contract forms.
  • Preferred experience on airports, airfields, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Preferred familiarity with document control systems and commercial reporting workflows.
