About the Role

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a dedicated Courier/DOT-1 to operate company vehicles, ensuring the efficient and courteous delivery and pickup of packages. This role involves verifying shipment compliance with FedEx service features and providing excellent customer service. The position requires adherence to all assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for package delivery and pickup.
• Ensure timely and efficient service to customers.
• Verify that shipments meet FedEx service standards.
• Provide customer support and maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid license appropriate for the assigned vehicle type.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance for customer interactions.
• Meet all qualifications stipulated in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Pass a required medical examination as per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic officials, and respond to inquiries.
• Ability to remain alert and work safely at all times.

Eligibility
