About the Role
Coats, a global leader renowned for producing threads and structural components for apparel and footwear, seeks an Executive in Procurement Compliance based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and examine Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transactions to ensure they meet internal procurement policies, ethical practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Create and update internal audit checklists, conducting routine system and process audits within Procurement operations.
- Identify compliance breaches, document findings, and facilitate corrective and preventive measures.
- Compile and present audit reports, findings, and management summary dashboards.
- Assist with the implementation and continuous refinement of Procurement policies, standard operating procedures, and control checklists, ensuring they remain current and uniformly applied.
- Share industry best practices and advise teams on compliance mandates.
- Recognize control deficiencies and propose enhancements to processes.
- Deliver compliance training and awareness sessions; serve as the primary contact for Procurement compliance inquiries.
- Coordinate and support audits including global internal audits and controllership reviews.
- Analyze transactional P2P data to assess the effectiveness of controls and develop performance dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Legal, Audit, and global transactional teams for seamless compliance management.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in any field is mandatory.
- A minimum of five years' professional experience related to Procurement, Audit, or Compliance functions.
- Practical knowledge of SAP, familiarity with P2P processes, and audit frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include in-depth understanding of P2P processes, sharp analytical and auditing skills, strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, knowledge of applicable laws and standards, and proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
