FMCG Cleaner - Grading Floor, Wellcamp

DA HALL & CO / Ellerslie Farms Group is a large-scale agribusiness operating one of Australia’s biggest poultry operations. Its business covers the full production chain, from chick rearing and grain production through feed milling, egg grading and poultry production. The organisation employs more than 400 people across its farming operations near Millmerran, about an hour west of Toowoomba, Queensland.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on cleaning position within an FMCG facility at Wellcamp. The role supports day-to-day production by keeping the site clean, meeting strict hygiene expectations and helping ensure operations continue smoothly and on time. It is part of a new project with the potential for long-term, stable employment and career growth.

Food manufacturing experience is preferred, but it is not mandatory because full training will be provided. The company is looking for someone who is committed to product integrity, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and able to contribute positively in a team setting.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out cleaning duties across the FMCG facility as part of a team.
• Work to deadlines while maintaining critical hygiene standards.
• Follow food hygiene, quality assurance, bio-security, workplace health and safety, and food safety requirements.
• Complete all tasks in line with WHS procedures and relevant company codes, laws and regulations.
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
• Take part in practical, hands-on training and continue building your capability on the job.

The right person will bring proven FMCG cleaning experience, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility. You should be comfortable in a busy, time-sensitive workplace, able to stay organised under pressure and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Bio-security and Eligibility Notes

Applicants must be prepared to follow strict bio-security rules. This includes not keeping live birds, chickens or pigs at home and agreeing in writing to avoid contact with avian species such as birds, chickens, ducks and turkeys.

These roles are not available to overseas applicants. However, temporary workers such as students and backpackers are welcome to apply.
