Role Overview
This position sits within Global Banking & Markets and the Capital Solutions Group in New York. The Corporate Derivatives team works across Investment Banking, partnering with Global Markets and Classic Investment Banking to help clients understand and use tailored derivative solutions.

The Capital Solutions Group brings together financing, structuring, origination, and risk management solutions designed to help clients create value and capture opportunities.
The Corporate Derivatives desk supports a wide range of public and private corporations and focuses on customized hedging strategies aligned to each client’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Design interest-rate hedging solutions, including fixed-to-floating structures, as well as foreign exchange hedges tied to debt and currency mix requirements.
- Apply knowledge of corporate finance, derivatives, and capital markets to structure and execute hedging transactions.
- Create pitch books, presentations, and other client marketing materials.
- Develop new client relationships and help onboard clients to the derivatives platform.
- Suggest and implement ideas to improve or optimize existing hedge portfolios.
- Build and review derivative pricing analyses, financial models, and company financial statements.
- Work closely with external clients and internal teams such as Classic Banking, IG/HY Debt Capital Markets, Trading, Credit, and CVA.
Requirements
- A strong academic background is required, along with a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree.
- Previous experience relevant to Global Markets products and multinational companies is preferred, especially in corporate rates.
- Strong numerical thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in finance, investment banking, and foreign exchange.
- A disciplined, accountable, and driven work style with a strong sense of ownership.
- Capability to manage several projects at the same time.
