Role overview

Amazon is seeking a bright, highly motivated recent graduate to join its Human Resources team as a Graduate HR Partner. In this role, you will act as the primary HR contact for Team Leads and Area Managers within an Amazon Fulfillment Center, supporting a strong employee experience and helping the site HR team deliver key people initiatives.

You will contribute to engagement efforts, handle complex associate queries, support low-risk employee relations matters, and assist with investigations where needed. The role also involves working closely with operations and HR partners to deliver company programs efficiently while continually looking for ways to simplify processes.

Key stakeholder groups

The role works closely with FC Associates, Team Leads, Area Managers, site HR teams, HR Shared Services, Payroll, and High Volume Hiring teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and practical HR guidance to Team Leads and Area Managers.
  • Manage employee cases in accordance with local employment legislation.
  • Assist with investigations while following applicable local legal requirements.
  • Help implement initiatives that improve the workplace environment and strengthen employee engagement.
  • Work with internal partners to deliver hiring, recruitment, and engagement activities.
  • Support the HR team in creating, rolling out, and maintaining communication plans.
  • Take ownership of HR projects or support them as assigned.
  • Gather and review data to help the HR team identify trends in attrition, attendance, workforce planning, recruitment, and engagement.
  • Carry out compliance audits and apply knowledge of local employment law under management supervision.

About the team

Amazon’s People Experience and Technology Solutions (PXT) team plays a central role in supporting employees and helping maintain a fast-moving, customer-focused business. The team works proactively and takes a broad approach to people management, aiming to resolve engagement issues quickly and uphold high standards across Amazon’s wider strategy and goals.

Locations

This role is associated with several UK sites, including Kettering, Leeds, North Ferriby, Peterborough, and other listed locations. Some locations mentioned are no longer available, including Manchester, Northampton, Swindon, and Wakefield.

Basic qualifications

  • Professional experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience reviewing data and preparing reports for leadership.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive HR information responsibly.
  • A completed university degree before the start date, or graduation within the last 24 months.
  • Strong spoken and written English skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Exposure to basic employment law and HR or payroll processes.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing, or international workplace.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
