Job description

Role overview

A rapidly expanding, well-known Irish business is looking to add a commercially minded Group Treasury Manager to its finance leadership team. The business operates in a busy, high-volume environment and needs someone who can strengthen treasury oversight as the company scales.

This position is responsible for managing multi-currency banking activity across retail and online operations, protecting liquidity, and maintaining strong governance around cash movement. You will also guide and develop a dedicated treasury team.

What you will do

  • Handle treasury and liquidity across the Group, including bank accounts spread across multiple entities, jurisdictions, and currencies, mainly EUR and GBP.
  • Manage group funding, short-term placements, and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Lead, coach, and support the treasury team while setting clear goals and promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Oversee monthly reconciliations for complex online platforms and high-volume payment flows, ensuring issues are identified and resolved quickly.
  • Maintain a strong control framework covering segregation of duties, access permissions, and approval structures.
  • Serve as the main contact for external auditors and banking partners.
  • Prepare treasury KPIs and short- to medium-term cash forecasts to give senior leaders clear visibility on liquidity.
  • Work with internal finance teams and external payment providers to improve payment performance and introduce automation and efficiency gains.

What you need

  • Proven experience in a senior treasury or treasury management role in a fast-moving, high-transaction commercial setting.
  • Strong technical and systems ability, with advanced Excel knowledge including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Experience with process automation is a significant advantage.
  • Confident, direct communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail, a practical problem-solving approach, and strong integrity when handling confidential treasury matters.
