Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Linux Support Engineer to join our team in Pune, India. The role involves managing Linux-based systems by administering users, permissions, troubleshooting issues, and supporting maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer user accounts, groups, and permission settings on Linux platforms.
- Identify and resolve problems related to the Linux operating system, associated applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist in implementing patches, performing system upgrades, and handling change management activities.
- Adhere strictly to ITIL frameworks and meet agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide timely resolution of technical issues to ensure system stability.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold a graduate degree in any discipline.
- Proficient in Red Hat, Ubuntu, and other Linux distributions.
- Experience with Linux system administration, troubleshooting, configuration, and installation.
- Familiarity with tools like RHCE is advantageous.
Compensation
The salary offered ranges between 300000 and 324000 INR annually.
