Machine Operator

Job Overview

The machine operator will be tasked with preparing, operating, overseeing, and maintaining manufacturing machinery to produce goods efficiently, safely, and up to defined quality benchmarks.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and run manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines and assembly line tools following detailed guidelines and specs.
• Interpret technical documents like blueprints, work instructions, and production timetables.
• Load machines with raw materials and components required for production.
• Monitor machine function during operation to identify malfunctions or deviations from set standards.
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products using precise measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Adjust machine parameters to resolve issues and ensure consistent product quality.
• Carry out regular maintenance tasks and minor repairs to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Maintain detailed records of production data, including output quantities, downtime, and defect rates.
• Uphold workplace organization and cleanliness through 5S methodology.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and use all required personal protective equipment.
• Promptly report any equipment failures or potential safety hazards to supervisory personnel.
• Aim to fulfill or surpass production targets while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality assurance, and other production teams.

Compensation

The monthly remuneration ranges between 16000 and 20000 INR.
