About the Role

This position is more than just crafting beverages; it's about curating memorable and unique experiences. As a Mixologist at W Hotels, you will be a beverage enthusiast who stays ahead of emerging trends, local offerings, and evolving guest needs. You will serve as the host of the space, extending your role beyond the bar to take full ownership of the guest experience. Your responsibilities include ensuring the bar area is impeccably maintained and functional, fostering relationships within the hotel and the local community to anticipate and fulfill guest desires, and demonstrating a passion for exceptional guest service. A keen eye for detail is crucial, from managing financial transactions to providing accurate guest information and ensuring the highest quality of drinks.

Success in this role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to company policies, protecting company assets, upholding confidentiality, and presenting a professional appearance. You should be comfortable discussing the origin, vintage, and style of various wines with guests. The role involves physical activity, including standing or walking for extended periods and performing tasks that require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds. You will also need to reach overhead, below the knees, and perform bending, twisting, and stooping motions. Collaboration with management is key in developing a team that delivers unique guest experiences through effective hiring, training, and development.
