Job description
About the Company
Netflix is a global entertainment platform serving more than 300 million paid memberships across over 190 countries. People use the service to watch TV shows, films, and games in many languages and genres, with the flexibility to start, stop, resume, and change plans whenever they choose.
The Team
CPOP Partner Integration & Operations collaborates with a wide network of partners, including studios, broadcasters, creators, licensors, publishers, media processing teams, post-production facilities, creative agencies, and metadata/tagging specialists. Together, these groups help deliver the assets needed to help members discover, promote, and stream titles across the catalogue. The team aims to build partnerships that are agile, nuanced, and set a higher industry standard.
The Role
The Partner Integration Manager acts as a key link between content partners, internal launch teams, and external fulfillment partners. The role works closely with Product teams such as New Content Experiences, Product Merchandising, and Engineering to open and improve delivery and ingestion pathways that meet a very high standard for members.
You will review content partner assets, support deal discussions, and remain a central contact through the path to delivery. You will also coordinate with fulfillment partner networks to clarify service scope, delivery requirements, quality expectations, rates, and KPIs.
This position requires strong knowledge of media processing, Netflix specifications, and related technology so you can guide both content and vendor partners. You will also have the chance to learn across the broader partner ecosystem, including metadata and creative promotion, and serve as an informed advocate for those areas. In addition, this role functions as a “player-leader,” supporting the Partnerships director on system roadmaps, workflow design, technology planning, and growth of support models that help licensing goals and the member experience.
Responsibilities
- Guide content partners through Netflix Direct Delivery systems, specifications, and pre-assessment requirements.
- Support local leaders when they manage regional partner relationships and conversations involving direct delivery.
- Run pre-assessment work, including coordination and project management across all internal teams involved.
- Serve as the primary contact for media processing vendors handling assigned content partner deals.
- Represent media processing vendor and content-partner needs in internal deal-focused working groups.
- Analyze error-code patterns and issue-discovery data for new content types and recommend delivery adjustments when needed.
- Work with engineering and product teams to align on technical delivery details, standards, and expectations.
- Partner with the Partnerships VIS team to shape KPIs for direct delivery and partner interventions that track speed, effectiveness, and quality.
Desired Background
This role calls for a collaborative, adaptable professional who can build trust across teams, challenge standard approaches when needed, and influence decisions to keep work moving. You should be self-driven, highly organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to communicate clearly and promptly in a fast-moving environment.
You should also bring strong analytical habits, a data-based approach to improvement, and a genuine interest in team culture and values. A willingness to travel internationally is also expected.
Hard Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of media processing and localization across multiple formats and specifications.
- Solid understanding of broadcast and streaming technical standards, including post-production, media processing, localization, and quality control.
- Familiarity with product deliverables such as artwork, synopses, music cues, and metadata.
- Experience managing clients or partners in the media processing, post-production, or entertainment space.
- Comfort working with global organizations and cross-regional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking supported by a data-driven and innovative mindset.
- Willingness to travel internationally for work.
Nice to Haves
- Experience using direct delivery and direct ingestion tools or systems.
- Understanding of AI use cases in post-production workflows.
- Working knowledge of Airtable.
