Job description

About the role

Netflix is a global entertainment service with more than 300 million paid memberships across over 190 countries. People use the platform to watch TV series, films, and games in many languages and genres, with the flexibility to play, pause, resume, and change plans at any time.

The Product Merchandising team works to make discovery simple and enjoyable by combining local market expertise with intuitive merchandising. The team focuses on helping members find what to watch now and next.

The Performance Sr. Analyst, APAC will support this mission by leading tailored regional analysis around title and catalog promotion, product usage, and merchandising campaigns. The position will use self-serve tools and partner closely with global performance teams to build and scale dashboards for ongoing tracking.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of distribution metrics, strong curiosity, and a collaborative approach. This person should be comfortable working where analytics meets creativity, and be able to turn data into clear stories and actionable takeaways.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze how titles, catalog content, and on-service activations are promoted across APAC, and assess how effective merchandising approaches are in each market.
  • Work with local Product Merchandising Leads and market leaders to plan and measure activations for priority titles and the regional catalog.
  • Collaborate with the Global Performance team to standardize reporting, identify useful cross-region practices, and improve the scale and consistency of analytics.
  • Help evolve self-serve merchandising dashboards and tools so they better support performance tracking.
  • Act as a subject-matter resource and main contact for promotional data across APAC, while also connecting regional teams with the central global team.

Required qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in analytical or insight-focused roles.
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation methods such as A/B testing, plus strong SQL query writing and reading skills.
  • Solid understanding of metrics and how to interpret performance data.
  • Proven ability to tell stories with data using slides, memos, and combined quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative without heavy supervision.
  • Experience working across APAC markets, with an understanding of the differences and nuances between them.
  • Strong interest in Netflix’s business, product, content, and the wider entertainment industry.
