Job description

Role Overview

A UK-based client is looking for a dependable Personal Virtual Assistant to provide remote support with everyday personal administration. This part-time position is entirely home-based and suits someone who is highly organised, trustworthy, and able to manage a mixed set of personal tasks with discretion.

What the Role Involves

You will support the client with scheduling, household administration, travel planning, and other day-to-day life management tasks. The role focuses on keeping personal matters organised and running smoothly from a remote setting.

Key Duties

  • Keep track of personal calendars, appointments, and reminders
  • Arrange travel plans, lodging, and detailed itineraries
  • Carry out online research, make bookings, and complete routine purchases
  • Manage personal messages and draft straightforward email replies
  • Monitor recurring household tasks, subscriptions, and renewal dates
  • Keep personal documents well organised and maintain digital file systems
  • Support with additional personal tasks as they arise

Experience and Skills Needed

The client is seeking someone with prior experience in a virtual assistant, personal assistant, or administrative role. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and clear written and spoken English are important. Comfort using email, calendar applications, and standard online tools is also required. Because the work involves personal matters, the ideal candidate will be discreet, reliable, and capable of working independently from home.

Nice-to-Have Experience

It would be an advantage to have supported busy professionals or families before. Familiarity with travel booking systems and personal finance tools is also helpful.

What the Role Offers

This is a fully remote opportunity available across the UK, with part-time hours designed to support better work-life balance. The work is varied and practical, and the client is looking to build a long-term working relationship with clear expectations.

Equal Opportunities

The recruiter and client welcome applications from all qualified individuals regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or background. Selection will be based solely on skills, experience, and suitability for the role.

Application Note

Applications are being reviewed continuously, and early submissions are encouraged. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to discuss the next steps.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is £10 to £13 per hour, which is equivalent to approximately £19,500 to £25,350 per annum based on a 37.5-hour week.
