About the Role and Company

As a Product Certification Auditor, you will work in a field-based capacity across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK to uphold product compliance by conducting comprehensive assessments aligned with BSI's certification schemes and Kitemark standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed product certification assessments within sectors such as Structural Steel (EN 1090), Concrete, Aggregates, and Construction Products (CPR).
- Prepare detailed assessment reports and effectively communicate findings and corrective actions to clients.
- Provide recommendations regarding the issuance, re-issuance, or withdrawal of certification based on audit outcomes in line with company policies and timelines.
- Manage client accounts ensuring sustainable partnerships and pursuing service excellence and business growth.
- Lead audit teams as necessary, ensuring team members are well-prepared and maintaining strong client and internal relationships.
- Collaborate closely with support services to ensure accurate and current client records and internal information.
- Mentor and coach colleagues, especially new or less-experienced auditors, to raise team competency levels.
- Plan and schedule work efficiently to optimize time management and maximize revenue-generating activities.
- Commit to an extensive onboarding program designed to achieve Lead Assessor status through structured learning and assessments.
- Manage a portfolio of clients by coordinating site visits, scheduling audits, planning logistics, conducting evaluations, and reporting results efficiently.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience within a product manufacturing setting with a focus on quality management or product certification.
- Preferably holds a qualification related to engineering or manufacturing disciplines.
- Prior experience conducting product assessments or audits against recognized standards.
- Willingness to travel frequently for field audits across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK.
- Familiarity with auditing quality management systems such as ISO 9001; possession of Lead Auditor 9001 certification is highly advantageous.
