About the Role
This role supports regional raw material and packaging supply planning, helping ensure manufacturing sites receive materials on time and without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle important supplier relationships, including Aramco and SABIC, by managing bookings, coordinating deliveries, following up on invoices, and keeping supplier portals and accounts up to date.
- Watch supplier booking systems in real time and place urgent bookings as soon as allocations are released so materials can be secured quickly.
- Maintain accurate booking logs with timestamps, booking attempts, confirmations, and escalation details to provide full visibility into execution.
- Support the full replenishment process for raw and packaging materials by turning purchase requisitions into purchase orders, issuing orders, and tracking supplier acknowledgements.
- Work closely with production planning to keep material supply aligned with demand and to respond quickly to shortages, delays, and inventory exposure.
- Compile and update supply and inventory reports such as DOC, OSMI, and L16 to help assess stock positions, shortages, and supplier OTIF performance.
- Partner with teams across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and suppliers to keep supply activities running smoothly and to support ongoing improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- One to two years of relevant experience in materials planning, supply chain, or inventory management; internship or trainee exposure may also be considered.
- Understanding of core supply planning workflows, including procurement, production scheduling, and warehouse operations.
- Prior exposure to planning raw and packaging materials in a manufacturing or FMCG setting is beneficial.
- Ability to work with SAP or another ERP platform for order handling and reporting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the wider MS Office suite for analysis and reporting.
- Good English and Arabic communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional, hands-on environment.
