Repair and Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Resustainability is hiring a Repair and Maintenance Engineer in Chennai to handle automobile upkeep, fault diagnosis, and corrective repairs. The role focuses on keeping vehicles in dependable working condition through scheduled servicing, troubleshooting, and careful documentation.

Core Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance activities such as oil replacement, tyre rotation, and brake servicing to support safe and efficient vehicle operation.
• Identify and resolve complicated mechanical faults by using diagnostic tools and applied technical expertise.
• Inspect vehicles visually and proactively spot issues before they develop into larger repair needs.
• Keep detailed logs of completed repairs, maintenance timelines, and inventory-related information.

Experience and Technical Expectations

• Hands-on experience of 5 to 15 years in automobile repair and maintenance.
• Good working knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
• Capability to troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems through diagnostic equipment and practical know-how.
• Comfort with standard maintenance work such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and related servicing tasks.
